The Augusta Ferry
Ferry services have been operation in Augusta since April 2, 1798, when John Boude began shuttling passengers between Kentucky and Ohio in his hand-propelled ferry. To this day, the Jenny Ann, continues to transport her passengers between Augusta and Boude's landing, located one mile west of Higginsport, Ohio.
